This is a fantastic expression of pure Barbadian rum, inspired by the Prohibition-era rum runner Bill McCoy. Produced at the Foursquare distillery, this is a blend of pot and column still rums aged for a full 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels with no sugar or other additives.

The Real McCoy 12 is a truly excellent example of well-made, unadulterated Bajan rum. It’s complex and balanced, with layers of flavor that unfold from the nose to the long, satisfying finish. This is a versatile bottle that shines when sipped neat, allowing you to appreciate its depth, but it’s also bold enough to stand up in a high-quality cocktail. For anyone looking for an honest, well-aged rum that showcases incredible craftsmanship, this is a bottle that absolutely deserves a place on the shelf.
