Nose: The aromatic presentation delivers competent results within expected parameters. The signature coconut flavor emerges along with some wood spices, while vanilla, a little citrus, and light oak aging form a nicely balanced foundation. The integration is solid for a young rum, establishing an approachable profile without complexity or intensity.

Palate: The entry provides smooth vanilla and tropical fruit notes as anticipated from the test results. The rum is surprisingly smooth for such a low-priced expression, delivering adequate weight at 40% ABV though remaining somewhat thin. The youthful character dominates without harsh alcohol intrusion, providing a clean foundation that showcases the base spirit characteristics.
